SRI MURUGAN TEMPLE was built in the year 1967 and was officially registered in 1982. After 40 years of serving the Hindu community of Kuantan with a place of worship, the temple management has been officially notified by the State Government to relocate to the Government allocated land at Kampung Tiram, Indera Mahkota, Kuantan. The construction of the new temple will cost almost RM 1.5 million. As such there is a great need to raise sufficient fund to successfully accomplish this project. The temple management committee humbly request kind support from the Hindu community to contribute generously towards this divine cause.
